This beautiful wooden motor yacht presents a unique opportunity to purchase a highly capable design classic by Art Defever, a slice of boating history Her two cabin two head spacious interior is beautifilly crafted in Mahogany and Teak through out and is superbly comfortable for long term cruising or indeed for full time live aboardGrand Banks Yachts were founded in 1956 under the original name of American Marine and are still building high quality yachts today.This Grand Alaskan 46 model number 27 was built in 1970 in their yard in Hong Kong featuring Mahogany planking on Yakal frames.

She is one of the more iconic designs from the board of Navel Architect Art Defever The designs, based on his Tuna Boat designs for working off the coast of California in Blue water, seaworthiness and efficiency with her wide side decks, high bulwarks and Portuguese bridge offering safety and security have been copied by several well known yacht brandsNotable onboard equipment and information - Engine room twin Ford Lyman 120 diesel motors equipped with Ample 130 amp. alternators plus starboard engine has a 200 amp alternator Smart Ample regulator Shore power isolator,2800 watt Trace inverter charger, back up charger, Rule bilge pumps 2500 and 3500 gph, salt water wash down pump feeding fore and aft fixtures, high capacity AC pump and a manual pump with access in cabin area.

Approx. 3200 its. capacity of diesel fuel and 1500 its of water tankage.

Espar D8 forced air diesel heater and a Webasto Hydronic heating systems. 45 lt.

Pressure hot water system.

The Galley has a double sink with one side smaller, four burner Princes propane range, Nova Kool refrigerator with freezer, 3.2 cuft. deep freeze in lazarette, all are fairly recent.
